Right, so, this Grenache Rosé. It’s pink. Ish. Definitely not a pinkies-up doily-discussing wine. More like a concentrated essence of summer disguised as a refreshment with bright raspberry and grapefruit notes. Dry, crisp, and versatile, basically, it’s a crowd-pleaser, but not in a “dancing bear at a children’s party” kind of way. More like a “swarm of fireflies delivering a TED Talk on the importance of chill” kind of crowd-pleaser. It’s just... elegantly delightful, with a dash of “did that wine just wink at me?” intrigue.

Drink When

This rosé is the catalyst for good times and easy conversation, adding a touch of sunshine to any occasion. It’s all about those moments that matter most: connecting with friends, laughing with family, and savoring the simple joys of life. Backyard barbecues, cozy picnics, or even just a casual weeknight gathering. It's about celebrating those connections that make life so rich.

Enjoy With

Rosie, a Grenache Rosé with a salmon hue and a devil-may-care attitude, wasn't your typical wine. She was a maverick, a free spirit, a bottle that lived life a little sideways. Her partner? A Watermelon Feta Salad, a cool customer with a salty-sweet disposition and a knack for disarming even the most uptight palates. Their mission? Blandness. They were an unlikely duo – a rosé with a rebellious streak and a salad with a zen-like calm – but together, they were a force to be reckoned with, bringing joy and deliciousness to every table they graced. And Blandness? Well, Blandness didn't stand a chance.

Copious Notes

These grapes were harvested early (too early for us! hah) on September 8th from Knox Road Vineyards in Yakima Valley, Washington. likes to keep fruit on the vine as long as possible to create a more complex wine. It was hand sorted and left on the skins overnight prior to pressing. We took the wine through partial Malolactic fermentation to soften acidity while retaining freshness. To add complexity and mouthfeel the wine was aged in neutral oak for 6 months.

Washington’s 2024 vintage is shaping up to be one of exceptional quality. Despite a cool start, the growing season delivered beautiful fruit with vibrant flavors. We are seeing tremendous balance in both whites and reds, indicating wines with depth and complexity. This means that when you choose a 2024 Washington wine, you can expect a delicious expression of the varietal, with vibrant fruit, balanced acidity, and a long, satisfying finish.

This Grenache Rosé tastes like summer memories – pure, simple, and beautifully nostalgic.
